Am I really seeing correctly? I could hardly imagine my eyes as I saw, the link to the “16 best churches in Jamaica”. This piqued my curiosity as I looked on Pinterest and studied the images that followed. Here was a collation of some of the finest architechture that I have seen in a long time. I felt good to know that these pins were presented with the intent to share the awesome beauty of these religious edificies.
Mine, however was a mixed reaction, since in one sense I expected to see a few listings of the author’s recommendation of a church to visit, or call a home for that matter. A further look, and my search refused to supply a list of a very useful recommendation.
Considering the subject, it immediately came to my attention that perhaps some persons may find it offensive to their own thoughts to list their own place of worship as a viable recommendation on such a list. I could understand. Most would think of it as self praise, or aggrandizement. But alas, how can a shopper know where a good deal is unless others share that valuable insight!
As such, I have no qualms of sharing such valuable information. And I will admit that I do intend to share my own:
My recommended list of churches in jamaica
The following are in no certain order. Just to note that I attend the one mentioned first. The others of course make viable recommendations.
The Vision Center Church of all Nations
The New Testament Church of God
The Church of God of Prophecy
The Open Bible Standard Churches
…these are to name just a few, since there are so many other denominations and independent churches that are doing an excellent job in building the Kingdom.
Perhaps in another writing I could list a few more as you join me on this journey to discover life in Christ Jesus.
